The year is 2091. The place; the small town of Survivors, 40 years after The Rising, a time when a zombie virus swept through the planet. It has long since ended, and now only sterilized zombies remain. Though 17 year old Lyric is fed up with people living in the past, her best friend, 18 year old Triytonn cant get enough. Triytonn develops Apocalyptica, a game that sends you into a virtual reality worse than hell. The Rising. Now he, Lyric, along with some friends, an annoying step sister, and Triytonn's "pet" zombies, Rover & Rex, Lyric and Triytonn are about to go on a wild adventure where survival quickly becomes the priority.

Firstly, A trigger warning for mental health/ self inflicted wounds when reading. you're only 18 years old. your name is zoe. you always had a love for the apocalypse but didn't think it would truly happen. and you slowly learn that nobody is who they say they are. Nobody is to be trusted. Things are gonna fall apart, and nobody can save us now. This book is being rewritten again and hopefully is better than the first and second time it was published. It's kind of cringe most of the way. Wrote it when i was like 13-14 years old or something and tried rewriting when I was about 16. Didn't work. Trying to rewrite it again at 20 but i don't think the first two books are saveable. Book three so far however is going well(i believe anyway). The second book has also been rewritten and will be rewritten again. now I'm working on finishing book three. All characters are mine but ellis is not I will be changing a lot of character names again in this rewriting process in all books, ellis being the biggest.Complete
