Alissa had always hated pirates. She thought they were cruel, sick, and twisted people to choose a life of danger on the vast sea rather than a quiet life on the safety of the land. But when a pirate named Portagas D. Ace makes an appearance in her home town, he makes quite an impression on her. As she gets to know the man, she realizes that not all pirates are bad. But can her story end happily when she chooses a life on the sea with him?
