Elizabeth is an orphan who is just trying to survive on the streets of Rouage, a futuristic city in a society where steam energy dominates.  Recently she's been noticing strange items showing up in the back streets and underbelly of the city. Pushed by self preservation instincts, she begins to investigate.  When her discoveries lead her to a masquerade ball, she attends and runs into Walter. Soon figuring out they are investigating the same mystery, they are pulled further into a wildly diabolical plot and maybe towards each other.All Rights Reserved
