Probabil vă întrebați de ce vorbesc numai de dragoste când mă refer la adolescenții de astăzi. Pentru că la această vârstă ei în primul rând își descoperă sexualitatea, ea este atât de prezentă în trupul lor, încep să simtă acea atracție pentru sexele opuse, o atracție care le va tăia răsuflarea de fiecare dată când vor descoperi o ființă pe placul lor. Iar dragostea devine un scop pe care doresc neapărat să îl atingă. Își doresc aproape cu diperare să iubească și să fie iubiți. Jocurile sunt apuse de mult, valorile materiale par inexistente pentru ei, ceea ce își doresc la nebunie în viața lor, este iubirea. Se simt pregătiți pentru ea și vor să își găsească sufletele pereche. Fiecare iubit sau iubită tinde să fie centrul universului pentru adolescent și o dată pierdut acest univers, el va pica într-o tristețe imensă. Dar la următoarea iubire va constata că sentimentele sunt mai mari decât în relația precedentă. Dragostea actuală pare cea cu adevărat puternică.
