our main character is a young police-officer, Camilla Dyne. right after arriving to ny, she was sent to one of the biggest prisons in ny with a pair of handcuffs and three bodyguards. the first moment she met him, she was scared for her life. her heart kept beating every second. Cohen Burgess annoyed her, with his black hair and beautiful cat-like eyes. 

Camillas boss had told her to put one side of the cuffs to her own wrist and the other one in Cohens - and she did as she was told. this was to prevent him from somehow getting away. our main characters were attacked on their way to the court-room. and now Camilla Dyne was running for her life, one of her hands cuffed to one of the few criminals she had ever met, and this one just happened to be guilty of murder. on top of all of that, our pair was chased by a really dangerous gang who had some kind of history with the mysterious man named Cohen Burgess.
