I have always been a hopeless romantic, always daydreaming of my prince charming to come, sweep me off my feet and we would ride off into the sunset to our happily ever after. When you're a princess this type of idea could be possible but not in my case. When my mother was alive, magic was the only string that kept her and I together. The silly card tricks, even pulling a rabbit out of the hat. It all connected me to her, pulling me into a seemingly better reality than where I was. But in the blink of an eye, she was gone. That string snapped. Magic was only real if you believed, and at that point, it was just a game to me. All it did was provide false hope. Hi! My name is Cassandra and I live in Labyrinth. There are five types of human beings in my world: 1. Legacies - are the beginning of Labyrinth. They are the most powerful magicians in the world and they are not affected by direct magic. Unfortunately, they're extinct. 2. Light Magicians - are good magicians and they are powered by light. 3. Dark Magicians - are magicians that focuses on dark magic. 4. Untoucheds - are human being who do not posses any magical abilities but they are not affected by direct magic. 5. Losts - they are created copies of Legacies and usually uncontrollable. They rule our world now. My life has been covered with secrets and it is up to me to discover them.

Set in the 1960's Beryl's boy friend, Dai, is persuaded into entering a Carnival Queen contest in drag. He wins and finds out he has to wear ballerina costume. Realises it is impossible so admits deception. Is awarded small prize and Rugby Club enter a float with all in drag.
