'Baron Staal was a Paladin'. And with these words Omerod Thorne uttered the most shameful truth that casts a dark shadow across all the great deeds of the Knights of Ukko.

Although Tom Clovely heard those words, it was not clear if he understood the meaning. Here, standing on Plough Steep and looking out across the battlelands of Nan Lithmor, he could be forgiven for not comprehending the gravity of such a betrayal. The young urchin had journeyed far. He had left his home in every sense of the word. But the bitter truth was that he had even further to travel, so far that he would become unrecognisable from the boy he was.

And so continues the story of Tom Clovely's journey into the far north; in the company of the three Paladins of Ukko and their followers, embarking on their quest to find The Hatchling Man, a man born of an egg, and a man upon whom rests the fate of peace.

But a powerful Wizard of Fire stands in their way. And he wants to be left alone...

Book two of my Herald of Death Trilogy My fate was planned that much I know. I was born to be a Reaper but I disregarded my fate for most of my life out of the fear that I would never uphold to the status of being a Herald of Death. I feared of disappointing my friends, my parents, and most of all grandparents. I mean really when your father is the Grim Reaper you understand why I feared of following in my families footsteps. I didn't want to let them down. My grandmother Morrigan the Celtic Reaper of War and Fate had other plans, though I doubt she realized how important the day my father became a Reaper of Death would mean for the rest of world. You see before you can get to my story of how I became a Reaper of Death I first have to tell you of how my father became the Grim Reaper. It is a tale best heard in the dark of night within a empty Tavern as a thunderstorm rages on outside with the errie tune of piano playing solemenly in the background. Now that I've got your attention I suggest you listen closely to all you hear. As the cold chills go up your spines while the story progresses into the dark and eerie realm of supence and mystery don't say I didn't warn you because this isn't for the faint of heart. So without further ado allow me to regale you all in the spine chilling tale of romance, suspence, and mystery of the origins of how my father became the Grim Reaper and of how I ultimately became a Herald of Death.

*Wings Book 1 If you are expecting a nice main character who does as she's told and is the picture of virtue... you're reading the wrong book. But if you're expecting someone like me... mischievous, clever, and rather bad, you've come to the right place. I know you're expecting a summary, so I'll tell you this; I'm not who you think I am. Humans have created their own stories about me - well, about us, but I'll get into that later - but those stories are mostly corruptions of what really happened. They even get the names wrong! Well, mostly. The others don't know I'm writing this, but if they find out... heh, heh, it's not going to be pretty. Don't tell them, okay? Well, as I was saying, I was adopted into my family, the Altheans. They live in a shining city, Althea, and all follow the rules of this guy called Orvin. I would object, only he's the one who rescued me from the ruins of the human village I was trapped in in the first place, so I can't complain. For some strange reason, he's banned us all from going to Earth for two hundred years (though I didn't exactly follow that rule) and for some equally mysterious reason, he's decided to let us go down there again. This is my story.
