Author's Note: This is the short-story that I used to apply to the Governor's School for the Arts, and thus far it has been very well received.

This is a romance, but not the conventional sort. There are no steamy moments or sweet nothings, but it is a romance, nonetheless. 

 Lucasta has made innumerable sacrifices to earn the love of a man who doesn't know she exists. One night she decides to make one more.
