Luna Martin is damaged, and she has the scars to prove it. Narrowly escaping her mother's wrath, her father drags her across the country. Hoping to get through her senior year without being noticed, Luna dresses like a nerd to cover up her healing bruises. But what no one knows, not even her dad, was that she learned to fight back. She refused to let anyone put her guard down, she could throw a mean left hook, and she had an incredible aim for shooting.
Sawyer Breckette is damaged, and he has more than enough to show for it. If watching his parents die in front of him didn't do it, then getting himself involved with a gang surely did. Turns out he had inherited the leadership of the gang and he has been training for the position ever since he was ten. But what no one knows, is that he is alone and terrified of responsibilities given to him.
But nobodies past can be left in the dark forever, and these two are about to find that out the hard way.
