You can't hide from your past forever...
-----------------------------
Luna Martin is damaged, and she has the scars to prove it. Narrowly escaping her mother's wrath, her father drags her across the country. Hoping to get through her senior year without being noticed, Luna dresses like a nerd to cover up her healing bruises. But what no one knows, not even her dad, was that she learned to fight back. She refused to let anyone put her guard down, she could throw a mean left hook, and she had an incredible aim for shooting.

Sawyer Breckette is damaged, and he has more than enough to show for it. If watching his parents die in front of him didn't do it, then getting himself involved with a gang surely did. Turns out he had inherited the leadership of the gang and he has been training for the position ever since he was ten. But what no one knows, is that he is alone and terrified of responsibilities given to him.

But nobodies past can be left in the dark forever, and these two are about to find that out the hard way.

WARNING: The plot might move fairly quickly, there will be cursing and my attempt at humor. Don't give me hate if it moves too fast for you. This isn't my best and I'm sorry in advance for any mistakes I make! ALSO, I KNOW NOTHING ABOUT GANGS SO I WILL PROBS MAKE STUFF UP SO SORRY

"If you turn your back to me again, you better be bending over, sweetheart." *** Everyone warns you about boys who go looking for troubles, who have bruised knuckles and split lips, whose eyes are so dark that it seems like they could swallow oceans and come out alive, about the boys who look like danger, but no one warns about boys who stay silent for way too long, or ones with rings under their eyes, boys with sad eyes and boys who whisper things so sweet, so quietly that you wonder if he was an angel. Everyone warns you about the bad boys, but no one seems to warn you about the broken ones. Bar Red was a broken boy who finally finds someone to help mend his scattered pieces. Everyone saw him as the untrustworthy, unstable beast who was more than willing to punch anyone's face in. Swear words and bad habits mixed with smirks and wicked grins are enough to ward anyone off. But, apparently for Clementine, that's exactly what pulls her in. She has no clue what she's getting into but she's about to find out. She wasn't innocent, not by far, but she had dignity, a warm aura, niceness, and stubbornness that could rival a mule. Mix that with Bar's possessiveness and overprotective behavior, some interesting situations will definitely arise. Adding in the fact that Clementine had to tutor Bar for the rest of the school year and his almost instinctual urge to be apart of her life, they are bound to get close. Bar swears, Clementine hates it. He fights, she glares while bandaging up his knuckles. She reads instead of eats and he refuses dinner until she joins him. He is rude and she ignores him until he apologizes. Both, easily, frustrate the other while simultaneously falling into love. Broken boys are the only ones that can fix themselves so will this broken boy manage to do so before he drives away the one girl who wiggled her way past every barrier? This is the story of a broken bad boy clashing with the sad good girl. * #1 in the Red series Stand alone

[COMPLETED] Autumn Cross is now in 12th grade at her new school, Willington High, with only one goal in mind: passing the 12th grade and going to a good college. But her world changes when she meets Ryder Becker. Ryder Becker is one of the most popular boys in all of Willington High. I mean, all the boys want to be him and all the girls worship him. He could care less about grades because he knows that football is what's going to get him into a good college. But his carelessness in grades changes when he meets Autumn. Not only does Autumn get partnered up with Ryder for the biggest class project of the whole year, she also lives on the same street as him. In the beginning she thinks it's a total curse, but maybe it's a blessing in disguise... They both may pretend on the outside that they are fine, but truth be told, they are both broken. The way his smile doesn't match his sad eyes draws her towards him, and the scars and bruises on her skin draw him towards her. A cure for your sadness could be another person, right? Well put her broken pieces together with his, and you have cracked the code. Love could put their broken pieces back together. ----------------------------------- A sky full of stars and he was still staring at me. "Why are you staring like that?" I asked him. "You scare me, Autumn." Ryder admitted. "How come?" He looked down at the grass beneath us then back at me and gulped. "Because I want to tell you secrets I'm too scared to admit to myself." ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ 🤍I wrote this when I was around 13-14 (i'm 19 now) so some chapters may be cringy but I am too lazy to rewrite them, and still so many people enjoy this book and i'm truly grateful! But sorry in advance for scenes that may seem unrealistically cringe...I was young and naive. "If I told you my secrets, you would never look at me the same." His fingertips graze my jaw, travelling up behind my ear and into my hair. I let out a soft sigh, unsure of how I feel about all of this. It's all sort of abrupt, but the way my stomach flutters when I'm around him is undeniable. Jaxon inches his face closer and I'm sure he's going to kiss me. Only he doesn't. He shakes his head and steps back, rethinking his choice. And now, he's gone. He's left me, in the empty parking lot of Cardinal Carter, and all I'm left with is the chanting from the field. I turn my head and watch him pick up his pace as he nears his Jeep. He fooled me. Again. Really, I should've never let an old flame burn twice. ---------- If anyone's experienced childhood trauma, it's Stella Blake. In her just fourteen years of life, she's witnessed her abusive, alcoholic father repeatedly beat her mother, saved her mother's life during the last straw, and truly knows what poverty is like. Headed into her freshman year of the prestigious Cardinal Carter Academy, Stella finally feels as if she's better. She knows she is. Her mother and her are doing fine now-financially and mentally. So what could go wrong? Jaxon Spade is the complete opposite. A once good boy turned Juvenile, the Junior carries an immense secret. One that he's sure will dethrone him as king. Jaxon is set to be the heir of the Canadian Mafia, also known as his fathers company, Spade Industries. Often seen as a rich boy who doesn't understand the ways of survival, he was once declared as Stella Blake's first love. Hiding family troubles of his own, Jaxon emotionally struggles to get by. That is, until he lays his eyes on Stella Blake. Prequel to Good Gone Bad - if you'd like some insight on the characters after their high school experiences, I suggest you read that first.
