In the small town of Pearl Beach, Florida, Izzy Lucas only needs her surfboard and the water to be completely happy. She wants nothing to do with parties, surfing contests or showing her face around the chick touristy hangouts. Her tight group of co-workers at the local surf shop have tried relentlessly to break naturally shy Izzy out of her pretty little seashell. But Izzy will have none of it... until the day Ben Barker walks into the store. 
      
      He may be from the city, but Ben is cute and charming, and he enlists Izzy's help in figuring out the strange beach town culture. And as the weeks if surfing lessons and multiple visits to the town's best pizza shack fly by, Ben inspires Izzy to risk everything and compete in the biggest surfing event of the year. But Ben is only in town for three months, and Izzy wonders if this amazing guy is worth stepping out of her comfort zone for what might be the perfect summer romance.
