While making a de-aging potion, meant to make the drinker go back by only a few years for a period of time, depending on the size of the frog liver and the color of squid blubber, there was a slight mishap. What is a six year old Harry Potter in the care of a snake supposed to do? Cope without the memories that are slowly fading? Things are slowly falling downwards in a fast spiral. Draco Malfoy, on the other hand, feels as though his life is slowly slipping, along with his mental stability. He wouldn't find Potter anything close to adorable otherwise, right? P.S. After quitting the Auror department at the ripe old age of twenty two, Harry Potter finds a nice, uneventful job in an apothecary. At least, it's uneventful until his old rival Draco Malfoy comes into the shop.
