After the Kira case Matsuda has been left jaded. He's not as laid back or trusting as he once was, despite wanting to be able to believe in the good of people. He learned the hard way, after all, that people aren't always what you think, and bitter betrayal can come from anywhere. Some might say this more serious nature makes him a better NPA officer. His friends find they miss the old Idiot Matsuda though.

Enter [L/N] [Y/N]; a rookie joining the force after being inspired by the heroic capture of Kira! Sure, she doesn't know what really happened, but to her it seems like a real super hero story!
