"This isn't fair!" I scream angrily.

"Life isn't fair." He chirps back quickly.

"This wasn't suppose to happen to me! I had an entire future  ahead of me!" I counter. 

"You know you should be lucky and thankful instead of complaining. It's a miracle as it is that your alive at the moment" he replies. 

And of course I know he's so absolutely right at this instance.

Nobody expected the next events. Everything for the most part was perfect. But we all know "a perfect world" doesn't necessarily exist, there's always a flaw.

Sixteen year old, Blair Dallas is known around her high school, Richmond Hill as the volleyball star since her freshman year. She's been playing the sport for the majority of her life. Over the years, she's been dedicated to her sport, putting countless long, hard hours training. Scouts all over the country are ready to sign her a full ride scholarship as she so much as shows any interest in the school. She's considered to be a perfect with, her popularity, her success, good grades, the ideal boyfriend, and she's genuinely nice to the people surrounding her. Everyone believes she has the future of a lifetime in front of her. But does she really?

All it took was one night to change the entire course of the future. When tragedy strikes, Blair learns the hard way to be grateful for what you have in front of you because in a blink of an eye, everything could vanish.
