There wasn't too many things Normani Kordei couldn't handle. When Hurricane Katrina took down her family's home and she had to move to a whole new state, she handled it like a pro even at five years old. When her mom was diagnosed with breast cancer when she was ten, she didn't sweat it. She just prayed, hoped for the best, and let God do his work. When she was fifteen and her grandmother died of a heart attack, she was the one who kept her family grounded through their grief. Normani is level headed and courageous, and possibly the hardest working person to walk the earth. She knew her limits, she knew how hard to push herself, she knew not to cross a certain line. That line included a lot of dangerous things; like doing meth, playing Russian roulette, and juggling dynamite. But the most deadly on that list, is falling in love.

That last one didn't have as many warning signs.

But what a lot of people don't know is, falling in love doesn't just happen out of nowhere. There's no love at first site, no fat baby running around shooting arrows in people's asses, no love potion that can poison your mind. Falling in love has four steps that can take years or minutes, and it's almost impossible to stop.

There's the trip, the stumble, not catching yourself...and then the ultimate fall.

Well, let's just say the ground was extra slippery as of lately.
