In life, we all have our own roller coaster. It goes up and down and swirls around. We have the greatest moments to never forget and we have our worst memories we try to erase. The Light in the Dark (Completed)
Cover made by the amazing @mikeyspizzadope (go check them out they're cool) It's 3 A.M., and you can't sleep. Your heart feels like it might burst out of your chest. Your ears are ringing, echoing in your brain, and everything hurts so badly. Your vision is going blurry as you try to fight back the tears, and you're wondering why you even try anymore. At one point or another, most of us have experienced the feeling of worthlessness, shame, or guilt. We feel like we're at rock bottom, and it seems like nothing will ever get any better no matter how hard we try. One thing we do know for sure, though, is that where there is dark, there is bound to be light, no matter how small that speck may be. There's always hope, no matter how far out of reach it may seem. There's always light in the dark. TW/CW: mentions of anxiety, depression, suicidal thoughts. "I know that even when things seem dark and at rock bottom, there's always hope. There's always a light at the end of the tunnel. La Mémoire de Lune
Memories of the Moon. Perhaps it was the inexplicable exhilaration momentarily caused her to zone out or, quite possibly, the hunger she felt that made her solely focus on the shawarma kiosk. Completely unaware of her surroundings, Hope failed to notice a man heading straight her way and he showed no sign of slowing down in his fast pace. A man sprinted off when he saw the time, the event was about to start and he promised his bandmates they'd meet up a few minutes before it did. He only wanted to grab a bite, was that so wrong? As he rushed through the crowd, he mentally prepared himself to perform later on and so he failed to notice a particularly enchanting, albeit preoccupied, young woman that was in his way. The two acknowledged each other's presence too late, they had no time to stop and evade one another. The result? A collision. --- Meet Hope Wintour. She's someone who's very caring, compassionate, sweet, selfless, and full of life. She's someone who's always up to the challenge, even if it might end up breaking her. She's genuinely beautiful, inside and out. There always seems to be a smile on her face, no matter what.
