The Journal is about a girl named Whitney who has a Journal that she writes in almost every day. Whitney's mother is a therapist, her mother abuses Whitney and keeps her from seeing her dad. Whitney's dad is autistic and has the mind of a three year old. He also has memory loss. Her father was in a car accident that gave him the disease.
