The 10 year old Poet, Philip Hamilton, is being forced to attend a meeting that his father is having with his rivals, Aaron Burr, Thomas Jefferson, James Madison and a few others. As soon as the meeting starts the young boy dashes under the table so he doesn't have to interact with everyone. To his surprise, a girl is under that table too. Theodosia Burr introduces herself and soon after they become good friends.... until Philip is slapped in the face with adulthood at 17 and starts developing feelings towards his best friend. His mother hosts a ball for him to find a future bride, but, will he conquer his feelings for Theodosia or will they conquer him?
