"Around here it's hard to find decent people. Not that I, myself am one. I'm not that ugly or weird, but I'm kind of a downer. Nothing seems  to be able to make me happy. My mom always tells me I will find someone to make me happy, and my responce is always the same, 'Sure, once upon a dream.' That's another thing, even though I'm not the most positive, I'm still a dreamer. My motto is to reach for the stars but only land above. Yet, that motto never seems to come to reality for me. I slack off and look out the window. Then I'll eat an apple. Did I mention I love apples?"

"Breath." He orders. I start to breathe again and just blink at him. "Now go." He orders me again. I flinch involuntarily at his tone and jump back slightly. "Please don't let me walk home alone." I beg in a quiet voice, looking down at my feet. The next thing I see are his black combat boots right in front of my shoes. I look up into his eyes and he looks down into mine confusion written all over his face. "How come you aren't running yet?" He questions searching my eyes. We'll be haunted by the darkness that is our own shadow, but in every shadow there's a light." He answered, as if the simplest thing in the world. I only stared at him with a dropped jaw. That was out of this world. Especially coming from Jonah. "When does it get better?" I mumbled. "It doesn't. But to go through it with someone makes it a whole lot easier." He turned back to face me. We stared at each other for a while. He'd always occasionally look down at my lips, and I'd do the same to him. I broke it off and looked back up at the sky. -=- New York City. I had scrapped so many ideas (that I only really wrote a few chapters of) that when I was older enough to realize the story I had going so far sucked, I didn't want to scrap again, so I finished for that sake in a span of 3 years (and ended in 2014).
