Ally's got the perfect life. Okay, that's a huge stretch. Her life is not perfect, far from it. Ally's life is the most imperfectly flawed kind of life you could ever hope for. Mom's drunk, Dad's a liar, and Jen's an asshole. What can you do when life sucks, you aren't well liked at school, and you're bound to fall down the same path the rest of your crap family went down? Become worse, ignore everybody, never speak, and possibly learn to hate everything good in this world.
Just a week of this hell is killing her. Not being bad is killing her. She's gotta do something. Something malicious, something wicked, something dangerous. Bank robbery.
Naturally, she got caught after a day of living on top of the world, all the money to buy her happiness. But she couldn't go to prison. So what does she do? Faking death is fun and gets the deed done, but she's gotta do something worse. Leave. The family all move to a town nearly five hours away. This town's so boring and uneventful, it rarely was featured on maps. It was perfect.
All she wanted was to stay there a few years until everybody forgot about the edgy fourteen year old who tried to rob a federal bank. But the more she kept away, the more they looked. Her face was everywhere. She was in too deep. Too deep to back down. But she wasn't going to prison.
Her profile stated her as an antisocial creep who rarely speaks and has few friends. She had it reverse it. Her name from now on would be Olivia. It was her middle name so it didn't matter. Her curiosity had to be kept away. She had to talk, make conversation. Make friends.
Making friends is overrated, but she met four girls. She expected it to be hell, talking about boys and pink. But the girls were edgy, fake IDs, drinking, cigarettes. Everything would work out.
An internal voice whispered, "Call him."
But I chose not to.
I dismissed it once more, saying, "He never liked me anyway."
Yet the dilemma lingered.
"But maybe he does. The way he looks at you... it's different."
Out of nowhere, he glanced my way. My heartbeat quickened, sending shivers down my spine.
I averted my gaze, pretending to look around.
"Has he noticed me? No, wait-oh my god."

After switching high schools, Nina discovered a new way of life. She fell in love, made wonderful friends, and everything seemed perfect.
But Ethan-a popular boy who never focused on anyone but her-was the object of her hatred.
He was always there, always keeping her safe.
He used to annoy her endlessly.
She hated him deeply. Until she didn't.
For a while, she was content with her high school experience. That is, until something mysterious turned her world upside down.
Forced to move to a new city, Nina had to cut ties with everyone she once knew.
Eight years later, fate brings her face-to-face with him again.
"Ethan..."
He's the key to everything-the truths she never knew.
When she was lost in the dark, he always held the light.
But now, things are different.
She despises him.
He's colder than ever.
Or perhaps she fears him.
Fears that he'll leave her again.
Will their lives ever return to normal after everything they've endured?
"Maybe?"
"Maybe yes. Maybe no?"

### Notice:
This is my first published story, and it contains numerous grammatical errors and bad editing. If you're interested in the storyline, please don't judge me too harshly based on this book. Better stories are on the way-I'm still learning and improving every day.
