This is a story about Vampires and the Mutant World. In this story there are two main characters, Carmen and Maya. Maya and Carmen live with Carmen's parents, since Maya's parents are not vampires. Carmen's family is at war with another vampire clan called The Others. They are at war because a long time ago Carmen's dad stole a gem from the werewolves that The Others desperately wanted, and they have been fighting ever since. Carmen and Maya find the lab that her dad hides the gem in and realizes her dad isn't who she thinks he is. They steal the gem and escape running far out. Now Carmen's family and The Others are out to get Carmen, Maya and their friend Belle. Maya and Carmen have to figure out what to do with the gem to make sure her dad and The Others don't get it. Maya also has to figure out what happens when she starts to fall in love with her best friend Carmen..
