"What is the point of living when there is nothing to live for?"
Mike Lewis wants to take his life. In his view,he has the worst life ever, from school bullying, to finding out that he was adopted and his adopted parents want to give him back to the orphanage, plus some terrible health challenges that are already even threatening to take his life.
Frances Marshall is the girl every boy wants; striking looks, wonderful figure, amazing poise. Having had so much attention from many boys, she assumes she has boys figured out, that they are all out to get one thing from her.
But an incident brings Mike and Frances together,and during their conversation, she notices something odd and different about him, which makes her intrigued. But when she finds out he wants to commit suicide, she laughs it off, assuming he was just joking.
Later on, she discovers Mike wasn't kidding, but it may be too late to save him. And she will never be able to forgive herself if he really kills himself.

(Okay, I know that this has been writing so many times over, but this is my version.) Addi is 14, an orphan and her only role models are Dan and Phil. She has a habit of self-harming. I also just want to say that this is the first story I ever completed and at the time it was hard and I was proud of my efforts, but now I hate it and cringe just thinking about it.
