"Amber King, I want you to listen to what I can offer you," I cupped her cheek, and held her waist tightly, as if it was the only thing in the world that I could touch. 

Her brows rose out of amusement, and a smile grew on her red lips. "Lucas Black, I'm listening with a particularly keen ear."

She then winked at me. Oh god, all I wanted was to seal my lips on hers, but I knew I needed to say this. My desperation for her kept me talking.

"I can offer you a life of luxury, and a life full of love. Come with me to Miami. Live with me, love me, and I can make you the happiest woman on this Earth."

Her smile grew and blush spread, "Lucas, you've only known me for a day."
