Aikotsu Maia has spent her whole life thinking she's a mistake, that she is nothing but someone meant to make others feel better about themselves. She's moved from school to school, until her life settles her in a Tokyo neighbourhood, and she attends Nekoma. She avoids people as much as she can, but one day, she's roped into a volleyball club to be their manager. She's lived in the shadows, so what happens when a certain cat sees her and tries to show her how to live in the light?
