Freeiysia Cunningham has never been to a school fair, and when she finally does, things start to go wrong.

A drizzle transforms into a heavy rain of fire and all the fairgoers are trapped in the school grounds. Slowly, people are taken down by a group of teenage boys called the Chasers.

As Freeiysia struggles to keep her and her friends alive, she finds out about secrets. That the Chasers attacking is not the first attack in history and most certainly not the last. Here, Freeiysia finds her worth and a dark secret kept from her since birth.
