I come from Neptune. Yep. Neptune. Born there then sent to Earth when I was five years old.
I will tell you a story. One that will soon have you on the edge of your seat, your thumb moving wildly to scroll or swipe to the next page.
A story that will make you cry or laugh or pull your hair out with frustration.
I will tell you how it all came to be.

The Light That Shines From Above
Heather has lived her entire life believing her mother is crazy. She doesn't believe the stories that were told to her as a child, the stories about men descending from the sky to take her. *Mitch POV* I knew something was wrong when I couldn't breathe. It was in the middle of our social studies lesson for the day, and I tried to take a breath. All that happened was worse suffocation. Being twelve, I didn't handle it well. I opened my mouth to try to speak, but all that came out was an odd sounding croak. My teacher hushed me. But someone sitting next to me looked at me and noticed how pale I looked, or noticed that tears were welling in my eyes and I was drooping. I wrapped my hands around my throat seconds before I blacked out. That was only the first instance. In the time that I was unconscious, my lungs filled with fluid and I almost died. I was out for nearly two days, and my parents really thought that I would die. I vaguely remember hearing my mom crying while I couldn't open my eyes, and my dad telling her that maybe it was just my time and they had to let me go. But then I woke up, and the fluid had been drained from my lungs. I spent a while more in the hospital, and in that time, my parents found out that I had cancer. It had been determined that I probably wouldn't live much longer, maybe three months at the most. On this new planet, Socks meets some new friends, a group of humans he grows fond of. It's peaceful, and, although homesickness is present, he is at peace. But nothing lasts forever. For a little piece of home resides in the shadows. A dark one that, although Socks has never formally encountered, knows all about and had been influenced by greatly. If it weren't for him, he may not even have been on Earth. And that little piece of home... Synopsis Phoenix was forced by his grandfather to marry his supposedly childhood sweetheart in order for him to get his inheritance. He badly wants his inheritance but he doesn't want to get tide up to anyone as he is enjoying his bachelorhood. Another reason is: he never wanted to get married to his clingy childhood supposedly sweetheart, Jewel Pierce, who proposed him marriage when they were still innocent little kids. But when he meets her again, he came face to face with a mature woman who doesn't want to have anything to do with him and strongly opposed his grandfather's proposal which confused him. He thought that she was head over heels inlove with him. However, instead of completely rejecting the proposal, she told him that they will enter a contract of agreement of staying married for only six months. Of course, no strings attached. Just to help him get his inheritance. But in those six months of being together, he slowly learned that there is more to Jewel than meets the eye.
