Malachi goes about about his life with an angry and deceiving scowl on his face, but behind his frown is just another boy trying to win over the love of his father. Lucas is the younger brother that is seemingly the favorite not only by his parents but by his peers. He's the blissfully unaware normal teenage boy. He worries about his brother solely because of his differences to others. He's more of a boy that is constantly worrying about his problems that don't even exist. Unaware of his selfish ways, always somehow relating his nonexistent problems to others that effect them in the worst ways. He means well and his image means the world to him.

But what happens when Lucas and Malachi's mother dies and leaves them? How will they handle it, and how will they handle the ever daunting task of surviving their senior year?
