"Lance," he says, this time with a warning edging his voice. "You need to tell me what happened, to me- to you-"
The other boy straightens his back and carefully arranges his face into what Keith supposes is supposed to relaxed and comforting, but it's not.
"I kept you alive."
Keith wakes up on a trade moon with a crying Lance by his side, a bloodstain on his chest, and no idea what happened.
This takes place kind of... somewhere after season 5? I started writing it a while ago so it's more canon divergent now, but basically where I have it at now is that Keith came back after season 5 ended, Lance was the black paladin for a while, and a bunch of other details that'll be revealed in here. To be perfectly honest I don't have it completely worked out yet.
{Slow burn angst with a happy ending.} (Also, this is pretty much the first draft, mostly unedited, the fully edited version will be up on Ao3 when I'm done with it, but. Eh. It'll do. Sorry 'bout that.)

6 years ago, Lance was kidnapped without a clue to where he went. Team Voltron searched far and wide, with not even a smidge of luck. They still have a bit of hope, but after 6 years that hope is dwindling. The blue lion has a new paladin, and the team is moving on. 5 years in the slave trades changed Lance, physically and mentally. He is a new person, no longer the goofy blue paladin he once was. He is now the leader of a year-old group of do-gooder assassins who take down the people who once "owned" them. Their identities hidden, they are known only as the "Deathhawks", and Lance known as "Pike". When Voltron hears about the Deathhawks, they want to meet up and ask them to join the Voltron Coalition. Forget-me-not (Klance)
Keith always had a hard time interacting with others but then he met Lance who always seemed so carefree and compassionate. He pulled Keith out of his little bubble and showed him a world so vibrant he never thought it possible and for the first time he fell in love with this boy, more radiant than the sun, but also, serene like the ocean. Naturally, he was at a complete loss and even more so when he finds out... ...I feel like I overdid this description... This is what happens when I procrastinate... Also just a note I actually started writing this in 2017... I mean, shouldn't be too much of an issue unless you're extremely nitpicky about the most minor details that may have changed with the release of newer seasons not sure because I still need to go back and check what I wrote lol but hey it's an AU as well so anything goes really (kind of)... Yeah... I hope this fic is actually decent, it's the first fic I've ever written but feel free point out any grammatical, spelling etc. errors so I can fix them! When the Stars Aligned
After the war ended and peace was brought to all the universe. It had been years since the end of a war filled past and now it was time for everyone to finally move on all except for one paladin who still clung to his past. Lance had been spreading the legacy Allura left behind when she passed and never had a day passed where he didn't miss her, but a dream reveals he needs to move on and live his life. Unsure of what to do he remembers when a certain moody mullet head confessed his love the same night he confessed his love for Allura. Determined to see whether those sparks still glimmered for him he decides to speak with Keith about a past left untouched. When the anniversary of Allura's passing came around he decided that was the best time to reconnect but who would've thought that the stars refused to align when Keith was found injured and unconscious with a beautiful stranger by his side. Will Lance ever find out if Keith still fancies him like before? Why was Keith injured and who is this stranger who won't leave his side? (I know this fandom is long gone but I rewatched Voltron several weeks ago before they removed it off Netflix. I forgot how much I loved it and how we were deprived of Keith and Lance ever being together so I decided to create this story. If you read it, thank you and I hope you enjoy it as much as I will writing it.)

"Blaytz, my original paladin." Blue supplied in response to his thoughts shifting to the blue alien. Blaytz and the Altean seemed to be whispering to each other, giggling. It reminded Lance of whenever him and Pidge would gossip at the dinner (although he and Pidge rarely sat next eachother) or even those nerve wracking times when Pidge and Keith decide they want to prank someone. The Altean was average height, for a human at least, and had long blueish white hair gently cascading down his back, tied in a loose ponytail. His face was what startled Lance the most. It was shockingly similar to his own. Smooth tanned skin, he didn't seem to be wearing any make up, unlike Lance who usually wore it to cover his freckles. His eyes seemed to be glowing with excitement in a blue that matched the markings that lay under his eyes. "That is Amira, my second paladin." Lance finds out he's part-Altean along with his feelings for a certain red paladin. Goes through seasons 2-6 and completely redone post season 6. **First Klance fic Lance and Keith were always neck and neck and rivals. They rarely spoke to each other and only knew things about each other that they told the whole team, Shiro, Pidge, Hunk, Coran and Allura. They were always off doing their own things and never did things together unless it was for a mission. On such a mission the team got split up. Hunk and Pidge went to a different planet to help people, and so did Coran and Allura. Shiro, Keith and Lance go on another mission to a planet where no one lives. They need to find a special living plant on the planet to make the Cryogenic Pods work properly again. Shiro choose the two boys because they always fought, but he hopes they won't now. When the mission is near Earth, Lance gets extremely homesick. Maybe, they end up taking a visit... Start: February 23, 2017 End: March 15, 2017Concluida
