She came armed with only her flute and carefree smile, and I pitied her, for there were none that have entered Omashu that have left it.

The Dancer and the Bard
This is a short story about my Dungeons and Dragons character Shava Liadon, a half-elf bard. The songs in Shava's repertoire were sundry and varied; they spoke of adventurers she had encountered and told stories of the great heroes of old. The music was her livelihood, yes, but it was also woven into the very fibers of her soul. She didn't just play the music, she breathed it; she drank it in like a sweet wine. Even before Shava became schooled in the bardic ways - before she could use Thunderwave to wipe out a swarm of kobolds or wield her rapier in ferocious battle - Shava loved her music, and no song warmed her heart more to sing than that of the girl who danced with swords...Lengkap

Music is an inspiration for me. I came up with the idea of writing short stories that have to do with the music I love. Whether you listen to music while you read or not. This is a collection of short stories. Influenced by the music and songs I listen to and find inspiring for stories. I have put a mature content label on, but each story will have trigger warnings for what each story is. Since this is a mix of different stories the trigger warning will change. My second collection of short stories, but longer than the works in my Read my Shorts collection. This volume consists of anything more than 1000 words and includes new works, re-writes of a few older pieces and anything else I found on my computer that I'd forgotten to post before. It will contain steampunk, historical fiction, urban fantasy, science fiction, fantasy, slipstream, sci-fantasy, horror, paranormal, general oddity and anything else that happens to fall out of my ears as ideas formulate into stories.
