The survivors of the Second Wizarding War return to Hogwarts after a summer of rebuilding and healing.

Harry had been offered a position for Auror Training, which he quickly declined in favor of one final year with his friends at Hogwarts. He hoped that the year would bring nothing but normalcy and quiet as he begins to move on.

Draco had been pardoned after Harry Potter testified in his and his mother's defense during the Trials. He had been released from Azkaban on the condition that he return to Hogwarts and complete his final year. It would serve as part of his probation. With his father awaiting the Kiss and his mother a permanent prisoner in their own home, Draco struggles to find himself as he picks up the pieces of his life.

This chronicles their Eighth and Final Year at Hogwarts.

Both men know continuing their relationship isn't going to be easy, but nothing good ever is. Can they keep their relationship hidden from not only their friends, but the wizarding world as a whole until they're ready to come out? Can they, along with their friends, end house prejudices for good, and finally unite Hogwarts? Sequel to my story Ghosts, but my goal is that this can be read as a stand alone book. Headmistress McGonagall has decided everyoe under age will be retaking the year the just graduated seeing as proper teaching was thrown out the window. I mean the war had drastic effects on anyone involved or with family involved. Hermione Granger will be attending and is dragging along her boyfriend and best friend. Harry Potter is secretly thankful for this as he can't take the silence of his new home. Plus, if he stays home dwelling on his girlfriend's, Ginny, death any longer he might go insane. Draco Malfoy will be attending to get away from the Malfoy Manor which is filled with fighting. He can't wait to go back to school.
