Helena Skylen, has not had a normal life. Her family died in a car crash when she was 14, none of her other family wanted to take her in because she was "emo." So she got put in a adoption home, she's been there for 2 years and no one ever wants her.
Unlike most people in her situation she always tried to stay happy, and keep her promise. Everyone except her best friend teases her because of what she likes. She loves 5 Seconds of Summer, All Time Low, My Chemical Romance, Panic! At the Disco, and Fall Out Boy. Her hair is bright blue and plum purple and she wears a band shirt and ripped skinny jeans everyday.
Finally she gets adopted by someone. Who might that be? The one and only Gerard Way!

The Wild Escape
Katrina Mars has always had a special connection with her older sister, Keeley, who graduated the year Katrina was in eighth grade. That connection was the same kind of love for pop punk/alternative rock music and their desire to be happy helping one another and others. The two had always been best friends as sisters, and they had always been there for each other. Keeley was even the only friend Katrina ever had, even after she went off to college. Ever since Keeley left for college (which is eight hours away from Katrina's home), Katrina has felt lost, confused, lonely, and sad, not knowing what to do at all with no one to turn to. About five months after Keeley left, at a doctor's visit, Katrina discovers that she has been diagnosed with depression. Although this disappoints her, it is not surprising... For the next couple of years, her parents have become worse and worse towards her, mentally abusing her because of the music she likes, the way she dresses, and her normal personality. This worsens her depression, and being ignored and lonely doesn't help. This is all until she meets Sam Browman, a kid in school who is a lot like her: dresses "emo," listens to "emo" bands, sings and plays a lot of instruments, and goes through troubles at home.
