Yuri Katsuki, a professional figure skater originating from Japan, was kicked off the ice years ago due to regulations revolving around Omegas on the ice with Alphas. Yuri is an omega, yes, but that never stopped him from his dreams as a figure skater.  Through his childhood he trained on the ice but around his adolescence he was revealed as a omega, ultimately shattering his dreams. Laws have always kept Omegas away from many sports and this eventually caught up with anything on ice including ice skating and hockey. Yuri was on his fourth year training for the Grand Prix when he was suddenly pulled from the ice when regulations came around. About a year or so passed and he finally returned to the ice where a recently retired figure skater, Viktor Nikiforov, takes him under his wing to train him after viewing a performance
