Starting a new school can be tough at any age. But, starting a new school, in a new town, miles from your friends and family as a slightly shy and quiet teenager? Well that's when it starts to get a little more difficult.

Alexis Maxwell has recently been sent from the hustle and bustle of London to the not so hustle and even less bustle of the countryside. Half way through her A Levels and moving to the middle of nowhere wasn't what Lexi thought would be happening when she started Year 13. But she also didn't expect she'd be attending Arcadia Academy where drama is a way of life and where she meets one boy who impacts her life in such a significant way: Chase Williams.

Chase Williams has got it all. Well everything he wants anyway. Popular, friends with all, football captain and all round nice guy. Well some of the time. Okay, a minute amount of the time. When Chase returns to Arcadia for his final year before university, he thinks it will go by just as it has previous years, only better. After all, it is his final year and with his friends by his side and girls falling at his feet (sometimes literally), it should be smooth sailing ahead. Only it's not quite smooth sailing. Not when he meets someone new, someone his complete opposite and yet similar: Lexi Maxwell.

They think navigating through these new and unexpected feelings is the hardest thing they will face this year, but there is something that lurks round the corner and it can strike without a moment's notice, making this thing called love look like child's play.
