More attractive units sell higher as well as the more physically fit the model is the higher the price. The units are used for anything and everything their owner wants, from household work to administrative duties, to even being sexual companions. They are each programmed with a hard drive in their brain that works like a computer and allows them to have a quick mind and agility, as well as nano machines in their body to repair any damage that can occur with normal usage. There are some people who still view the units as a dead body and have trouble interacting with them in their daily life. But most of the population is too poor to even afford one so this problem is left to the upper classes that can buy the units. For some, poverty is worse than death. How does it feel to see half of the city covered in flames? Calming. Especially when you observe it from the top of a landfill. You can see how easily the fire is spreading to other districts of the city and the black smoke hovering above the ground. Nowadays, the fire was a phenomenon that could've been seen every day. It was because of the things that laid on the ground. Sometimes only one spark can cause it. Why? Because of things. That was the fault of overconsumption. In the past, people were buying so many things that they started to run out of space to store those items. The world was so focused on climate change and pandemics that they weren't able to notice the real issue that soon became so significant that the damage done was irrevertible. The planet was filled with things that they couldn't get rid of. In the beginning, people were trying to solve the problem by creating islands, but the production didn't stop. No one was able to solve the problems. Rich people solved their problems by moving to Civitus Lumine, which were clean areas. They didn't have to worry about the dangers of the Urbs Cinere.Complete
