This story is about a boy named Lucas Davis who has always been the loner and outcast of his school. Everyone at his school either beats him or ignores him all together. He always tried to ignore it and go on with his way by listening to his IPod where his listens to his mothers songs, the only place he can listen to his moms music from. His mothers music was the only thing to help with his anxiety.
Troy Dolton, Nick Crumpton and the popular Drake King, Lucas Davis bullies, take it too far and break his IPod. Lucas tries to find other music that can sound similar to his mother.
As Lucas is walking home one day he sees Drake King yelling at a older looking man in front of a house. Will Lucas say something? Or continue walking?
