Sora Takara Miyahira (prefers to be called Teru) was a princess. But she wasn't like any other princess, sure she was a tomboy and was incredibly lazy but that isn't what I meant.
When Teru was born her parents noticed that she had bright green eyes and bright green hair while the tips were pure sliver! After a week though, her hair and eyes turned into a brown color.

At age five her hair and eyes went back to green with the tips of her hair the same pure sliver. She decided to keep it a secret from every one. That when her eyes turned green she could see fairies. she didn't know why her hair turned green and sliver because at times just her eyes would change color.

Teru realized that she has special powers. She thought that she knew all of them but she didn't, she still has a few more surprises along the way, both magical and romantical...

(Sorry if the description is pretty bad 😅)

Sora has no place in the world. She is meant to be a strong warrior, with the ability to shift into a wolf. She is none of those things, and looked down upon because of it. It brings shame to her, it brings shame to her family, and worst of all, it brings shame upon her prideful and strong brother. There is but one person who truly knows and loves her, but does he really? Magic is not the weapon of a warrior, magic is the weapon of a coward. Sora has been told that all her life, but she has magic within her, recently awakened, and so she has begun to doubt it. Still, witchcraft is punishable by death, and so Sora must be careful with her practices, lest she lose all she has. Sora is a better witch than wolf, though not by much, but she still pursues that craft in spite of the dangers. Her place in the world is a dangerous one, but will it last? The world she lives in is a dangerous one, and such a life as hers rarely ends happily. Disclaimer: this is a short prequel, Sora's story does not conclude with this one. If you finish this book and go "oh, that's the end?" it's because it's not the end. I'm writing a trilogy called Mortance that explores the larger world that this takes place in and concludes Sora's story more thoroughly than in this book. Go read that next if you like my writing, thanks. Please leave any and all criticisms you might have, anything you like and anything you dislike, I want to make this as good as I can. P.S. the cover is literally just a drawing I made in physics class, I know it's bad, I'm not an artist.

Follow Tanhì and Jake's story as they navigate through life's many obstacles. "You are too hard on them, Jake. They only want to make us proud." She crouches, placing a hand on his thigh. Jake looks up at her and she sees his eyes watering. Leaning in to wrap her arms around his shoulders, Jake discards the weapon, letting it fall with a clunk as he buries his face into Tanhì's neck. "I've had so many vivid nightmares like this and in each one, I lose all of you. I thought we lost them today Tanhì and then when you weren't answering, I- I thought -" She caresses the back of his head, letting him breathe in her scent. "I understand but they are only children, Nì'eveng. They will make mistakes." Jake pulls back, hands droping to her skimmed knees as he swallows thickly. "Kiri already took care of them." "I'm okay with mistakes, baby. Just not ones that'll cost them their lives." She softly hits him on his head, grabbing a cloth to clean off his war paint, wincing when his fingers brush over her injuries. I don't give ANYONE permission to plagiarize my work.
