Currently being rewritten because I read through the whole book and deemed it pretty terrible. So I want to put my newfound writing skills to good use, only for me to probably forget about this book in like a week. Sorry..

I didn't ask to be born into this world, none of us did but we make the best of it. I'm a twenty-five year old single man. Why you may ask? Because I've seen what love can do to a person. It can destroy them. My parent's are amazing but I can still remember the time's my father threatened to kill my mother, left us due to his mental illness. Besides who needs one main women when I can have a different one under me every night, money to blow and fast cars. I'm just enjoying my time until I take my Papes place at the throne. Most nights are spent living it up with my cousins who are my only friends. However there is the one girl that has caught my eye and I don't know why. I first spotted her at a random coffee house I stepped into. Usually I'm very talkative especially when I'm trying to snag a chic but I couldn't utter a word to her. I barely managed to place my order. Now, I find myself going out of my way to stop by that coffee shop everyday. It doesn't matter that it's out of my way. The only thing that matters is that I see her. I knew I could take her if I really wanted to but I can't make myself to do it. She sees me enter and shoots me that amazing smile and prepares my order without even asking what I want, she knows. She'll offer a greeting but all I can do is nod my head. She makes me lose my word's. Deep in my mind I wonder if she could be the one that could change my mind on love and that scares me. For now I'm satisfied at seeing her for the few minutes it takes to get my coffee. Besides I'm a killer, a future mob king and she's this delicate flower that wouldn't understand my world. Nova is going to have to navigate and keep herself and loved ones alive, all the while dealing with a family looking for forgiveness that she is not willing to give. The following story is the result of a game I played with a fellow writer, a fan of Fantasy and Manga. Basically, I offered to email him the beginning of a story. He would write the next part and send it back to me. I would write the next part, send it, and so on. But he didn't have enough time to take part in this little game. I then suggested that we write a story in the form of a serial and send the parts to each other by e-mail, once a week, for two months. My plan was to turn it into a summer mini-series. Caught up in the story, this attempt lasted through autumn, and winter, and was finished in spring. So, my first thanks go to you, Jeremy. I'd also like to thank the most diligent critic of my writing: Renault. Your corrections and comments were very relevant and were a great help. I hope that I will, at long last, be able to buy you a drink and discuss it with you face to face. As we haven't seen each other for more than five years, we probably won't even recognise one another anymore. Through my writing I have had the privilege of meeting a lot of different people, from all walks of life, but mostly waiters and waitresses in the (far too) numerous Brussels cafés, Exki, Pain Quotidien, and others, where I write, as well as the hotel staff in the Novotel, where I was living. I thank all of you for your kindness and the interest you showed in my stories. Writing is a solitary process, but has its rewards. Firstly, A trigger warning for mental health/ self inflicted wounds when reading. you're only 18 years old. your name is zoe. you always had a love for the apocalypse but didn't think it would truly happen. and you slowly learn that nobody is who they say they are. Nobody is to be trusted. Things are gonna fall apart, and nobody can save us now. This book is being rewritten again and hopefully is better than the first and second time it was published. It's kind of cringe most of the way. Wrote it when i was like 13-14 years old or something and tried rewriting when I was about 16. Didn't work. Trying to rewrite it again at 20 but i don't think the first two books are saveable. Book three so far however is going well(i believe anyway). The second book has also been rewritten and will be rewritten again. now I'm working on finishing book three. All characters are mine but ellis is not I will be changing a lot of character names again in this rewriting process in all books, ellis being the biggest.Terminé
