Do they exist merely to conceal ones' true self
To hide emotions
And to hide real feelings

In a chaotic cruel world
Where the good and the bad is hardly different
Among all the lies, all the accusations, all the fakeness
There lies false hopes everywhere

As all the bitter truths are revealed
There I was, alone in a crowded place
In a masquerade party
Where lies and masks are everywhere

I sat there in he corner, crying
As all my dreams and hopes came crashing down
Hiding behind that cute smile
Fooling everyone, fooling the world...
