Nadia Volkov's arrival at Hogwarts couldn't have come at a worse time. The Wizarding World is divided and a war is brewing in the shadows. The time is coming where everyone will be faced with choosing a side. Friendships will be tested and broken, enemies will lie on every corner, and nothing is as it seems. 

Will Hogwarts' newest student be able to navigate through this new place of mystery or will she fail despite trying? There is much Nadia still has to learn, not only about magic, but also the world she lives in. And as she does, some of the people she meets along the way will stay with her forever. The question is whether that is a good thing?
