The medieval fantasy lands of Varanthia have long forgotten their past. A past filled with magic, mystery, castles, dragons, fairies and creatures only the mind could create. But here, in this realm, It's real.
Or at least it was real.
That past was driven out - stamped off the face of their continent by human's fear and greed. Magic died through generations, mysteries were buried; the mythical creatures driven overseas, into hiding or hunted to extinction.
Through millions of years the humans overpopulated Varanthia, and all traces of magic and the creatures of the past vanished into nothing but stories and legends; the rulers of those lands believing they made sure of that.
Or did they?
