Once, I was just a normal sophomore in high school, zooming through my classes and carrying my two best friends through. People always told me I was fast, mentally, physically. I even (accidentally) beat Lydia Martin as the top student of our class, my mind worked so fast, it baffled everyone. But I had learn to ignore the looks of disbelief and the whispers.

That is until the day one of my best friends, the one I happened to be in love with, got bitten by a werewolf. Everything just seemed to go downhill from there.
