When 16-year-old, Charlotte Hersey, is told that she has only a few more months to live after being diagnosed with an incurable cancer, she doesn't react the way everyone thought she would. In fact, it was quite the opposite. Instead of waiting out her inevitable death, Charlotte decided to go on a journey of self discovery where she learns to embrace herself and her illness like she never thought could be possible.
Along the way she develops new friendships, completes her ridiculously cliché eight grade bucket list and falls in love for the first time.
