It's been months, maybe even years since this damn apocalypse has started...people are dying by the hundreds everyday...from what you ask? Cronix...Cronix has been killing people...killing families...killing...businesses...killing everything in its path. Why? Because of three simple words...three simple words written down in a dictionary and the first word in their description is Evil. Money, Power, and Fame. Those three words are why Cronix took over...why this apocalypse started...why all of our friends and family are dead...is this what you want!? Is this how your gonna live the rest of your life!? If your answer is No then get your ass over to the rebellions side! We can end this suffering once and for all!

The small tv announcement rang through the dead streets and neighborhoods. The rebellion leader hoped for people to hear...for anyone to hear...She was alone...she was desperate...she needed someone..anyone. She had sent this message out day after day, week after week...but no one ever heard...until today. A couple of survivors living in abandoned warehouses, wrecked cars, and crumbled houses had over heard it and they decided they would help best they could. They found the rebellions hide out and they talked to the leader and became part of the rebellion!...or so they thought...All Rights Reserved

This is the story as they try to keep their biggest darkest secret of what they are capable of and as they discover they're not the only ones like them... I am not very good at trigger warnings before individual chapters but there is mention of blood, cold abuse and parents divorcing. (But read at your own risk in case I mention something else. No one really knew how X's came to be. One day there weren't any, the next day half the population was wiped out. All Karma knew was that they are technological monsters, fit to be the world's biggest weapon, after the splitting particle ray which could reduce any person into air particles in a millisecond. Karma realised how simple it would be to destroy an army even with one X. They were practically indestructible, perfect killing machines, only they'd turned on the government, apparently. Or maybe those bastards had escaped perfectly unharmed, watching how the country was being destroyed. Maybe it was an excuse for overpopulation. xx-xx Karma has been trying to survive for over a year, but it's difficult when X's, mechanical killing machines, roam the streets, hungry for human flesh. Every day that passes by without finding a portal brings the morale lower. They need to escape the country before they all end up dead. It doesn't help that the X's have changed their tactics and are now manipulating people to commit suicide. The death rate keeps increasing, and Karma has to find out what family means, and to what extremes she would go to save the ones she loves.

Oh and then there are just the Loners like me hoping to find somewhere they can fit in and belong. I don't know what made me go this route but for some reason I did and now I'm standing face to face with a Reluquos Army Leader. His strong arm grips onto my Shoulder stopping me from moving, He regards me coolly studying my face for signs of fear, which I'm trying my damned hardest to suppress. Finally he talks....
