"The world we knew is now forever gone as a new hybrid species begins the unplanned and uncoordinated genocide of the human population of the United States of America. Though the Eaters could possibly not have gotten out of America it certainly could not have just stayed within the borders of the country. God bless, be safe."
~President Obama, five hours before the White house was taken over and the President went missing.

Clara never wants to relive any of the days that were between the day she had lost her treasure to the day she finds her treasure intact, should that day ever arrive.

Traveling the country searching and hoping against all the signs, Clara simply keeps to herself as she goes from city to city avoiding survivors as if they were like the rest of the human population.

Suddenly that changes when she gets saved by a teen not much older than her and is kept against her will in a survivor camp refuge.

Soon she becomes a reluctant adviser to her savoir and a friend to the second hand man. What good can come of this when she needs to leave as soon as possible to complete her quest.

Despite this, Clara knows she'll have to keep her eyes open if she wants to survive the survivor camp.

*COMPLETED* When Rosie turned thirty-one with nothing to show for it, she panicked. Suddenly it felt like her biological clock was ticking, but she didn't want to settle for a man for the sake of having a child. So, after falling down a rabbit hole of research online, she decided to find herself a sperm donor. A strangely vague profile ends up catching her interest. The only real thing she learned about him was that his name was Levi and he was in the military. One invasive and intimate procedure later, Lily was conceived. It was a few months after her daughter was born, when Rosie should have been fretting about the price of nappies and lack of sleep, her worries were overshadowed by an event she never, ever could have predicted: a zombie outbreak. Rosie locked herself away in Finches tower block, stocked up on supplies from abandoned neighbouring flats, and lived every day with the sole purpose of keeping her daughter alive. Doing so meant avoiding the dead as well as the living. She'd been doing a decent job of it so far. Until a man breaks into the tower block, but it wasn't just any man. It was Levi, Lily's literal sperm donor. And he was there to save them. -- When a bioweapon was released on UK soil, Staff Sergeant Levi James Brackley was sent from pillar to post in an attempt to help neutralise and contain. Once it was clear neither was possible the last resort was to form a safe zone on the Isle of Wight. Levi decided to stay behind. The last evac chopper left without him on board. He knew it was a shot in the dark, that they were probably dead already, but he had to try. Without knowing it, they'd become a beacon of light during the darkest time of his life. Now it was his turn to be there's.

Humanity's Hope: Book 1 in the Saving Humanity Series

21 parts Complete

What happens when humanity's hope rests on the shoulder of a teenager? Caleb didn't come out of the zombie uprising unscathed. He's been scarred-both mentally and physically. The rest of humanity is trying to rebuild, to make the world normal again. Caleb is trying to return to a normal life also, but after all he's seen, after the loss of his family and friends, the transition is difficult. The darkness that led him down a path of self-doubt and self-harm has never left his mind. Things only become worse when he discovers he's immune to whatever makes a zombie a zombie. Fighting zombies was predictable. He knew what to expect. Fighting humans is volatile. They are malicious and treacherous. They won't stop to get what they want, and Caleb has to figure out exactly what that is. *Trigger warning: Attempted suicide
