evelyn was normal untill a group looking for women with special mitochondial dna markers set their sights on her. j'onn helps the police out given that the first four women who had disappeared had shown up a week after their disappearence dead, but evelyn had been gone two weeks without showing up.

The Hard Way (A Female Percy Jackson/ Young Justice Crossover)
Persephone Jackson just wanted a brief hiatus to rest and recover after the Second Giant War. Of course that was never possible because the fates hated her. The Young Justice team was hot on her trails over something she thought had been cleared up with the Justice League. --- "How can we even be sure she's involved?" Artemis asked. "All we have is a name." "And now we have a picture." Robin flipped pulled the image up and showed the team-a slightly blurry child but very much the girl who materialized before them earlier. "I think it's safe to say she's involved." "Well, now what?" Megan asked. "We dont know where she is or how to find her." "We could Google her." Conner suggested. "Don't be ridiculous. We'll only come up with social media accounts. It's useless." Robin said. Miss Martian ignored the black haired boy and looked up the name on Google.com . To say the least, they found more than just social media accounts. Articles upon articles on this girl having performed incredible feats- surviving kidnappings, gunfights, property destruction, evading the police, among other things. "I guess we'll start in Manhattan. That's apparently where she lived at the time of the earliest article." Artemis skimmed back through the first article on her phone. They had all taken to looking her up themselves since it was just that easy. "Sounds like a plan, but we shouldn't go quite yet. We need to be careful, so the League doesn't catch on." Robin said, to which they all nodded in agreement. They all retreated back into the mountain and went to either the Zeta tubes or their rooms, depending on where they resided. They had begun hunting for Persephone Jackson without the permission of the Justice League. --- A female Percy Jackson and Young Justice story. Roy Harper/Red Arrow is the romantic interest in this story and be warned that it will cover hard topics like drug abuse, alcohol abuse, addiction, smoking, death, ect. Have you ever wondered what it's like being the only Kryptonian on earth without powers? It sucks. I'm Marinette Martha Kent. Yup that's right I'm the daughter of the man of steel....and I mostly take after my mom, so I'm utterly completely human. The worst part of being my father's daughter is I can't be a hero. His excuse is I don't have powers while there are heroes such as Green Arrow and Batman. An alien with no powers equals a worthless alien, and the entire justice league knows it to after all my father said so. At least I have my brothers who believe in me... I'm lying no one in my family thinks I can be a hero I'm just a dumb human to them. What's worse is even the bat family won't help me because they secretly agree, or at least that's what I think. So I did what any normal human would do when in an environment that doesn't believe in them I left. I applied for a 2-year foreign exchange program in France starting my high school year.
