"11 years... That's how long I was gone" "Now. Everything's different." Jennifer Price was your everyday girl, as is every heroine is in these stories. She's starting her first year of high school and is crossing her fingers for the best (like all the other hopeless freshman). However she walks, well more like pushed, into an age old curse that's threatening to consume the very person she is -cause what's a story without a dark secret. Every breath she takes the curse slowly grasps tighter onto her humanity as well as her sanity. Jennifer must decide to accept who or what she's become...or fight it every step of the way. However it seems that the only person who seems to want to help might just be her toughest problem yet. His name is Damien Cross, and he's just as dark and mysterious as the curse that threatens to consume her. Damien is understanding but what secrets is he keeping from her that keeps him at a distant. Jennifer might have bitten off more than she can chew.... Jennifer: "Wait right there!! Who said I wanted a piece of whatever it is your serving?! I didn't ask for this remember!! Authors these days, force feeding their own characters.... I demand to see a happy ending when this is all over." Me: "It's my story! If you keep up with the attitude who knows how this story will go down!! Got it?!" Anyway....Oh did I mention that through Jennifer's self realizing journey that there might be an army of warriors born and made to kill specifically HER. Hey! At least I mentioned it now!! Just read the story...geesh. I'll try and update every 1-2 weeks. Enjoy!!! **WARNING: Strong Language, Violence(lol, makes it sound like a movie) and some sexual scenes. You have been warned.**

This story begins in the country of Britannia. A country where several certain races live with one another. And at the center of these races stood a girl. A beautiful girl with wild molten hair and eyes that reflected the universe. She was the creation of love and the child of wilderness. She was someone full of wisdom, wisdom she had gathered from centuries of experience. Many don't know how she was born, some saying that she was the daughter of the blazing sun while others say that she was born from ashes during an alluring eclipse. The name they called her? Malaika Kya. Angel from the diamond sky. For eons she wandered, visiting many kingdoms and gaining many friends. She battled battles that many would have died from, protecting those she holds dear. Slowly, her family began to grow. Person by person, home by home, kingdom by kingdom. Her heart spreading the biggest of wings. But then it happened. The one she loved most was attacked, almost dying because of someone's idiocy. And so she fought. She fought for her dying family, soon gaining the powers of the internal flame buried deep inside her. Screeching her painful cry, she fought in her new form with all her might. But it wasn't enough as it's hand sprouted from her body. Tears fell from the eyes of her lover, his eyes wide as he watched her body wither in pain. Hey dark eye were gentle a she watched his physical pain disappear, his wounds sealed shut as he snatched her closer one more time. Softly she apologized, saying words she wanted so badly to say before sealing their goodbye with a kiss. After one last smile, she disappeared into the fire below, her body dissipating into the molten flames as her words echoed into the soundless wind. "Mind telling me about that promise again?"
