I wrote this book aiming to capture the conflicting experiences of being a survivor of rape and incest, aiming to capture both the hope and hurting that I feel. In this book I attempt to put words to the senseless.

After all the disappointments in her life, her greatest desire was to get a stable love life. After years of pain and sorrow, she finally found "the one" or so it seemed. He was everything she ever asked for and she was ready to put her foot down on this one. Will she finally get her happy ending or will life be so cruel to tear them apart? I fell in love with a widower, ignoring the red flags. Until I asked him point blank if, after a year, he loved me. His answer cut deep. Unable to ignore those red flags any longer, I had no choice but to walk. Unfortunately, he wasn't taking it well.

Two years in the making. Two years of my life put into words. There is nothing more left to say.
