Melancholy Melodies: From Family to Fantasy
Melancholy Melodies: From Family to Fantasy is my first ever poetry book. It has 3 parts (1. Them, 2. Him, 3. Her) "Them" is a compilation of poetries about my parents, my paternal grandma and my maternal grandpa, my librarian, and my childhood friend who became my bully in middle school. "Him" is a compilation of poetries about the guy who felt like home. "Her" is a compilation of poems about myself. The covers are edited by me on Canva, and the pictures are taken from Pinterest. Album 1: "The Emotional Monster"
This story holds albums constructed by me. I'm currently finalizing all my poems in my story book, and publishing them here. I'm willing to publish all of them one day. I have been through a lot of heartbreak in my life. At only 14, I've erected well over 50 poems in only in interlude of only 2 months. From Mid- October to the last day of 2019. This time I was rejected. I was cheated on and dumped in middle school. I have 3 "Albums" of poetry so far. The first one I'm going to publish is called "The Emotional Monster". Album number 2 is "One day but not today", and the third one is "I promise there's someone who loves you, like me."Complete
Poems for the broken
I started writing poems because I had to get my emotions out in some other way and poems helped because I got a deeper meaning from them and had to put lessons I learned the hard way in my writings. I feel as if these were meant for those who could under stand my pain and anger at those who did me wrong. I don't care what you think about my writing because it's part of me and this is how i'm choosing to show you who I am. I was bullied. I did have my heart broken. I have came back stronger. One sample of my work (Note not all poems will be so serious, some are story like others are light hearted): "Every day, something happens... Someone gets bullied, Just because "They're different" "Nerdy" "Annoying" "Have no sense of fashion..." All those things are of unimportance...! Everyone has a choice, Don't let what someone says, change it! You could stand down... Watch as the victim pleads for help... That's the easy path, But is it the right one? Do you want that on your consciousness? The pain can be so bad... It takes a life... Then it's too late, Regret becomes your best mate... A depressing thought... Although. It doesn't have to be that way...! YOU can make it change! Stand tall, speak loud, Stand up for what is right! That one action... Can save a life...! You could make a friend, A REAL friend. Spread awareness and Right the wrong! Be brave! For those who suffer... You're not alone...! If there's no knight to slay The evil demons away... Find it within you, to be strong! If you get no help, save yourself! You deserve happiness, and it will come! For karma never forgets you! Nor your enemies... Once it comes around, it will go around... words from a broken soul
I don't own the two songs I've posted on the two newest poems but give them a listen if you like. just a collection of free verse/rondel poems(short stories to lengthy ones I guess) I've written over the course of ten months so far some won't be uploaded as I know they would get flagged as to dark of topics so yeah enjoy or don't. Feed back is helpful I didn't really pay attention in my English class during poetry so I don't really know how to punctuate the poems. Also I know the first one is pretty bad but it was the first I've ever written the rest I think are okay but we're our worst critics after all. Also there are some with dark topics such a suicidal ideation, abuse of a child, sexual abuse, and not technically a dark topic but metaphorical suicide which talks about suicide so you have been warned for when I get around to uploading the darker poems.Complete
