"P....please stay..." the sound of my voice was pleading and needy. He crossed the room kicked his shoes off and got in bed beside me. He pulled me close to him. I was feeling so many emotions, pent up emotions, ones that I had been able to keep at bay for only a little while. I wanted Brent but I doubted we would ever have that bond again. He looked down into my eyes. 

"Natie?" He said so softly I felt shivers run up my spine. 

"Yes Brent." I responded, my vulnerability showing fully. 

"May I kiss you?"he asked.

"I-" I couldn't even start to finish my sentence because his lips came crashing down on mine. I kissed back, the kiss grew stronger. In that moment I forget about all my problems, I forgot about these men after me. I was focused on Brent as he was focused on me. He pulled back and looked into my eyes. 

"Nattie, I love you." He said. 

"I think I love you more Brent." I had replied. In a matter of moments we were both asleep
