The boarders are getting used to their new boarding house, they are also quite enjoying it as well. This story tells a story about a group of grade 10 students and how they survive during a threat of a small music box, and a demonic presence, that likes to be known as Jack. After Aron returns to the hospital for more white plaster and another two modern crutches, they decide to destroy the threat once and for all.

Bradley then plays it but the song Pop goes the Weasel is out of tune and where the clown is supposed to pop out, there was nothing. He goes to Pippa and asks about her eyes. She then tells him about the monster, Laughing Jack. She tells Bradley opening the Jack in the box was a big mistake as it unleashed him out of the box. The boy then realises that that's the reason he also can't sleep at night ever since getting the box. Pippa tells Bradley about a girl who experienced the same thing a year ago and was put into an asylum as no one believed her. Bradley and Pippa go to this asylum and question the girl about this evil clown and how she defeated him.
