A Long Way Off

In November 1999 I packed all my belongings into a small car and set off from England, home, and everything familiar, to start a new life on the Greek island of Corfu.

If you've ever wondered what it's like to go live on a Greek island, here it is. The ups. The downs. The good. The bad. The funny. The not so funny.

Several parts of this account were sold to magazines and online sites. Part of it won a competition. Mainly, writing it day by day helped me stay sane.
